What/Where is NI?

National Instruments is a company that specializes in virtual instrumentation. In layman’s term, that means creating software that tests and measures different equipments used today. The company headquarter is in Austin, Texas, but they have offices worldwide. I’ll be working in the Shanghai office, which is NI’s first R&D center started in 1998. The office used to be located somewhere in Puxi, but luckily for me, they relocated to Zhang Jiang earlier this year! That means commute for me will be somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes bike ride, depending on whether I get a nicer bike.
