NISH Technical Communications department had a department outing/activity this afternoon. It was a belated Q1 party. We met around Big Thumb Plaza for a digital scavenger hunt activity. I’m the department social event/activity planner, also known as the “social dictator.” I planned the activity with the other social dictator and put together a list of items for the scavenger hunt activity. Some of the items on the list include shaking hands with a stranger, holding a live animal, baby wearing open bottom pants, Eiffel Tower, Yao Ming, cleanest bathroom, etc… Most of my colleagues are local Chinese and have never participated in a scavenger hunt activity before. It was a lot of fun watching them take silly pictures and enjoy this team-building activity.
