Tom Johnson at I’d Rather Be Writing started a new social bookmarking site called WriterRiver.com for technical communicators. Just like Digg, anyone can submit interesting articles on technical communication and share with others. Users can vote articles they like so that popular articles are more visible. Currently, there aren’t that many registered users and articles yet, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of good articles in the coming weeks.

What a great idea! I was just thinking about how to share good articles with other technical writers at work but didn’t really come up with anything. I subscribe to a bunch of technical writing blogs and scan through hundreds of articles each week. With WriterRiver.com, it’ll be easier to sort through the most popular articles. What a great resource for technical communicators!
