I use Google Reader to read all my RSS feeds. Google Reader is a powerful, fast, and easy to use aggregate reader. The beauty of Google Reader is that I can read all my subscriptions anywhere I’m connected to the web. I subscribe to hundreds of feeds but unfortunately I don’t get to read as many articles as I want to. I organize all my feeds by labels (technology, technical writing, personal blogs, entertainment, etc…) and for the most part, Google Reader allows me to skim through articles according to topics of interest.
If I read an interesting article, I click the Share link at the bottom of each article. Friends from my Gmail/Google Talk contact list can see my shared items when they use Google Reader. Currently, it doesn’t look like any one on my contact list is using Google Reader, or at least have any shared items.
In any case, I’ve embedded my Google Reader shared items to this blog’s sidebar. You can read these articles directly from the links on this blog without using Google Reader. This list is constantly updated as I read and mark interesting articles. Check them out!
If you also use Google Reader and have shared items, do let me know!
