I’ve written several times about the Great Firewall of China and Internet censorship here in China. Numerous websites are blocked and inaccessible from this part of the world. At different points in time, the following websites have been (or are still) blocked: CNN, New York Times, Wikipedia, YouTube, Gmail, Facebook, blogging services (WordPress, Xanga, Blogspot, Live Journal), TV stations (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc..), religious websites, and many more. In addition, Google search results are different here compared to the results in other countries.
Do you want to see what Internet is like from this part of the world? Do you want to experience what Internet censorship is like? Then download the China Channel Firefox Add-on and experience what 1.3 billion people experience every day!
