This past weekend, my husband and I went on a getaway weekend to She Shan (outskirts of Shanghai, about 1.5 hours from the city) to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were going to cancel the trip because I was so busy getting ready for a product release in less than two weeks, but we weren’t able to cancel our hotel reservation and went anyway.
Thanks to Google Maps and my iPhone 3GS, we were able to navigate our way to She Shan Le Meridien Hotel where we stayed. It’s just south of “Moon-River Art Pork”!!!

I probably shouldn’t laugh too loud given that I work for Google, but “Art Pork”? I wonder how the English/Chinese translations are done on Google Maps.
I’ll find out soon!

Ha! I recently corrected a Google Translate error that had a common term used by my Korean dance teacher, Eolshigu, translated as ‘Suck it!’ (It actually means something like ‘yeehaw,’ and is now translated as ‘Hooray!’) Also, check out http://www.engrish.com/ for many laughs.
haha, just have some pork in that park!
