In less than three months of joining Google as a technical writer, I managed to survive the first product release with a set of documentation amounting to more than 130+ pages worth of content! Whew! I’d say that’s about the same (or even more) amount of documentation I generated in my first year at National Instruments! Talk about an insane amount of documentation, not to mention the initial learning curve of starting a new job, figuring out the ropes, getting familiar with new writing styles, and working on a product that is completely unrelated to anything I’ve ever worked with. But that’s the kind of challenge and excitement that I thrive in, if only I had just a little more time to work on the documentation!
Now back to generating more content to this blog!

Congratulations! That’s a baptism by fire. “…if only I had just a little more time to work on the documentation.” Heh, I soooo know where you’re coming from. I’m guessing most tech writers can relate to that sentiment. And to thriving on the buzz too.
