2009Are You a Geek, Nerd, or Dork?

The other day, I received a friendly email from a reader commenting how nerdy I was. I can’t say this is the first time someone has made similar comments about me, but then again, I already posted on my Facebook profile a long time ago that ‘I used to be a closet geek.’ However, there IS a difference between a geek and a nerd. (See definition of geek.)
Several weeks ago, I saw a Venn diagram that identifies whether a person is a geek, nerd, or dork. I can’t remember where I found the Venn diagram (probably a link from Digg) so I can’t give the creator of the diagram credit, but I did save the image on my computer. I knew it’d come in handy one day! I thought I’d share and post that here.

What are YOU? I mean, obviously if you are reading and following this blog, you’ve got to be at least somewhat interested in geeky, nerdy, and techy things…

That’s really interesting. I know the word nerd in a presentation back in college; I know the word geek from Geek Squad of Best Buy. I have no idea what a dork or a dweeb is. Thanks for the explanation.
